Maui resorts/hotel?

I know I have another thread started about Veradero. I am torn between either staying in Veradero or staying a week in Maui. Which resort/hotel or condo can be recommended while staying in Maui?? I belive there are 3 larger areas in maui? Wailea? Kaanapali? and ? Any help is appreciated. I have done some research on accommodation but there are like a bazillion places to stay. I would like a 4star or 5 star recommendation and prefer to be on the beach.

I liked the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui Its 5star hotel. It's at the end of the beach and quite peaceful. Their staff is very helpful and cordial it is really nice. I highly recommend you to visit the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui.
