Visit to Queenstown should always include jet boat ride! One Flew Over the incredible speed, making 360 degree turns a lot of fun. There are many companies, jet boat ride from many different places in Queenstown, but I found (and brave) to be Shot over Jet Shot over River. Shot over Jet boat speed through a narrow canyon to make 360 degree turns, when you think that you do not break the side of the gorge. This is very interesting, and I would highly recommend this experience.

If the jet boating is not your thing, or you want to change more slowly all sports who participated in the steam cruise Lake Wakatipu is perfect.TSS Earnslaw vintage steamship is making daily cruises Day Lake Wakatipu Walter Peak High Country Farm, where you can take a guided hike to see the New Zealand sheep farm work. They offer dinner cruises in the evening, although I have only a one-day cruise on the farm, which was nice and relaxing.

Canyon skipper
Captain Canyon Road is one of the most dangerous roads in New Zealand, and actually hire cars are not insured while driving on the road. After the Shot over River, is going to take the canyon cliffs, and some of the points of 100 m above the river. Take a trip down the road is big and very beautiful gorge. Spotted incredible how people had to manually cut the road, all in order to gain access to the gold deposits in the river. Some scenes from "The Lord of the Rings" were filmed in the canyon. Who knows how they got there!

I could have easily spent several weeks in Queenstown and not get bored. At any time of the year is a great visit to Queenstown.
