I did a two-week tour in GAP (Go Costa Rica) back about 3 months .. The same tour was about $ 450 on time and took us through most of the country. Accommodation and transport were fairly basic, and the food and excursions are additional costs, but I still had fun.
If you are going alone makes the study tour. It's a great way to meet people. Almost everyone in my tour of Canada and the female began.
