I'm going to Amsterdam from May 11 - 17. First trip to Europe, or outside Canada actually. It was a last minute thing as I won an Air Canada voucher that had to be used, so I don't even have a solid plan as to what I want to do. One other person is coming with me; we're both young and looking for fun stuff to do. Any advice for a first-timer? Places we should go, etc.? I was thinking about taking a day trip to Bruges or something, worth it? We'll be staying in the Dorint hotel in Schipol, so taking transit into the city-center will be on the agenda.
