    The political crisis in Thailand has forced hoteliers to refuse guests in accommodation.

    Several popular Bangkok hotels among tourists did not only stop taking the applications for accommodation, but also asked his guests to move to other hotels because of fear of riots in the surrounding areas.

    Thus, according to Associated Press, the owners of the capital's hotels Grand Hyatt and InterContinental did that.

    Four Seasons Hotel remains open, but four restaurants of the hotel are closed, and the lobby is empty.

    The nearby Holiday Inn hotel also invited its guests to move to a safer place, announcing that new applications will be accepted until Monday.

    Hotels were forced to take such steps because of the increasing political tensions in Bangkok, where supporters of the "Red Shirts" occupied the highest category hotel and shopping district, which thay have been holding for 18 days.

    Recall, the Foreign Ministry has repeatedly recommended that Russians should refuse to visit the capital of Thailand.
