9 days in Buenos Aires/Santiago
Going to be making a quick trip to Buenos Aires/Santiago. What is the best way to divide up that time? I'm thinking 6 days in BA and 3 in Santiago. We haven't ever been to South America and don't speak any Spanish.

No expert but I visited both and have a friend who lives there.
Santiago: far better economy but dull.
I found Chile to be one of the most boring placed I have ever been to, even duller than Switzerland. But maybe I was doing it wrong.
Buenos Aries: *FAR* nicer city, better social life, beautiful people - but rubbish economy.
