Munich is a city of palaces and public parks, art and coats of arms, Oktoberfest and oompah bands. Olympiapark, site of the 1972 Olympic games, can't be missed. You can actually skate on the Olympic ice rink and swim in the Olympic pool. Kids and their parents will like the puppet museum, the historical toy collection and the marionette theater that performs Mozart operas. And no Munich visit would be complete without meeting strangers while drinking the local brew at a beer garden.

Lot more to explore Munich. Especially the night life, don't miss it. If you love taking beer..the night is yours. You will get a pint for €3 and that is really cheap. You can also try short train journey which makes you fall in love with Munich.

Munich is one of the most important city centers of Germany. The Munich has numerous tourist places for history and art lovers. The Nymphenburg Palace, Hofgarten Park, Deutsches Museum and Nationaltheater are must visit places of Munich. The Olympic Park is also a popular tourist location in Munich due to its connection with 1972 Olympics.
