question regarding Auto Rental Collision Loss Damage Insurance purchased with CC

My RBC rewards Gold Visa card states, "This insurance is effective when the full cost of your rental vehicle issued by a rental agency is paid with your RBC Rewards® Visa Gold card and/or RBC Rewards points. If only a partial payment is made using RBC Rewards points, the entire balance of that rental vehicle must be paid using your RBC Rewards Visa Gold card in order to be covered."http://www.rbcroyalbank.com/cards/rewards-cards/rewards-gold.htmlMy question is, what if I make the purchase through expedia and not the rental company? Will I still be covered by the CCs insurance? I am looking to rent a car for 8 days @ San Francisco International Airport, and on expedia, I am able to rent a Ford Fusion for $250 cdn. I checked on other rental websites, and I can't find a similar rate even with special codes. Does anyone have any experience with renting through expedia regarding insurance?

As I thought about this article, I realized that a collection of hints were not enough to convey a very important lesson I've learned over the years to be a pet-parent. Traveling with your pet can be difficult.
