Nova Scotia
So anyway, the last time I went to Nova Scotia for real tourism was 26 years ago when we did Nova Scotia and PEI as a kid. Other times I've been in Halifax were for strict drinking purposes only. So, I'm afraid I am lost as to places to go post-frat boy days. My wife and I are flying to Halifax for five days in October. We figure we'll stay in Halifax for a couple and then rent a car and drive about. Suggestions? I'm big into history and scanery, so I'm thinking Lunenberg and Bay of Fundy are must dos, maybe a drive along PEI as well.

Nova Scotia is one of eastern Canada's Maritime territories on the Atlantic. Comprising of a promontory and seaward islands, it's home to puffins and seals, and mainstream for water sports like kayaking. The Bay of Fundy, with its broadly extraordinary tides, is a whale-watching goal. Halifax, the capital, ruled by the star-formed Citadel, is known for its enthusiastic waterfront and Victorian-time Public Gardens.
