Really spectacular photos of Indian lakes, perhaps you forgot to include NainiTal Lake. It is also known as Naini Lake which is just 20 Km away from Bhimtal lake which you included in the thread.
The Famous Lakes in India are : Bhimtal Lake which is located 22 Km from Nainital, Dal Lake which is located in Himachal Pradesh, Pushkar Lake located in Rajasthan, Roopkund lake located in Chamoli district of Uttranchal, Vembanad lake located at kottayam district of Kerala, Chilka lake located in Orissa.
Almost every state of the country has several of lakes that add great beauty to their natural characteristics. In North-Western state of India there are many beautiful lakes such as Dhebar lake, Nakki lake, Pushkar lake, Chandra Tal, Suraj Tal, Dal Lake are some of the most important lakes that lies in these regions. And the south part of India has any popular lakes like Husain Sagar, Vembanad lake, Chembarambakkam and Sashthamkotta.
