    Default Tirana one of the best cities

    Tirana is one of the best cities i have ever visited.
    Its the Capital of Albania and has around 1.5 million people.
    Althought , not as technologically evolved as the rest Balcan countries but it offers cheap accomodation and cheap prices on products which you will hardly find in Europe.

    Tirana is one of the most youthful cities in Europe, which turned capital of their country. Founded in 1614 by a general of Ottoman sultan (ruler of medieval Turkey) there are no monuments from earliest times, but the city with its turbulent recent time is more than a gateway to amazing Albania.

    The city only has a handful of sights; three museums, a mosque and a few pretty tekes , but it's the liveliness of the city in the evenings that makes it worth a visit.It is really a pleasure to visit Tirana during the winter season. The cool climate in the city attracts visitors from all over the world.
