Questions about Japan
I'll be heading to Tokyo in February for the first time...am super excited about it. Couple of questionsr:-Most of the schedule is already planned, however, I will have couple of days off. Any suggestions on places I must see, that are in Tokyo or perhaps close by?-Hotel is paid, but dinner is not. Suggestions to keep the food budget reasonable? -Will my laptop and phone charger work in Japan? Do I need to get an adapter for the electrical plugs? From what I hear, the plugs are same as Canada..just making sure.-What do I do about cash? I have a TD visa card..if I use it there, I imagine I will incur high costs?Cheers

What advice do we have for Canadians in Japan?
Following consultations with Government of Canada experts, and based on information available from the Government of Japan and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Canada has assessed that at this stage there is no indication that there is a radiation health risk to Canadian citizens in Japan and other countries in Asia.
