Destination for youth travelling alone?

What's a good place to go in the winter for a 20-something year old travelling alone, for a week or 2 in December?- Using air miles for airfare, so distance doesn't matter too much- Wallet-friendly cost of living- Easy to meet/hang out with other young adults (but not looking for a hardcore partying/drinking scene)- 10c+ temperature preferable
