Must see places in NYC?

I will be going to New York for a few days and wanted to know from other peoples experience what some must see sights and sounds are and other interesting things...

New York City which is full of activities those are fun for parents and children travelling together. It is one of the tourist favorite city where number of visitors comes for enjoy especially with family.
Moreover, Bronx Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, New York Aquarium, Brooklyn Children's Museum etc are the best attraction to visiting with family especially kids.

- Go on Cooper Beach –Southampton
- Museum of Television and Radio
- Madame Tussaud's New York (wax museum)
- Lincoln Center
- Take a ride on the Staten Island Ferry
- See the Statue of Liberty
- MoMa (Museum of Modern Art)
- Ellis Island

I always thought that New York is a city of business, you can only see huge buildings and wide roads. I've never been there that's why I was thinking this. But its good to hear from you that they have a few tourists attraction places too. I love Zoos and Aquariums so if in the future I go there, I'll surely visit these places.
