Best price on flight to Venice, Italy

Hi everyone,in your opinion, when is the best time to buy a ticket for June travel to Venice, for instance.Travel agents have 'early bird' specials around this time for chartered flights. Is that the cheapest way to go? I don't know if I am comfortable leaving it to the last minute and book what I find (since I need to tell my employer about vacation days well in advance).Thanks for the advice.

Generally.. Thursday is the best day to book tickets because, on thursdays, the rate of travellers is lower than any other days.
