Northern Italy with kids

Will be flying into Milan in June and staying for 1 week (3 day conference, with a few extra days on the end). We would appreciate any advice on:
Where to go with kids boys ages 13 and 11
Which Northern beaches are the best
Day trips...etc. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’d like to recommend visiting Venice which is one of the most romantic destinations in the world. The place is unlike any other on the planet because most of the city has streets filled with water, giving a romantic ambiance to it. I'd definitely recommend travelers to take a tour towards this place.
