London Gatwick airport to Guernsey

Hello,

We'll be arriving from Dubai on Emirates at London Gatwick International Airport at 12.30pm at the North Terminal and was looking to fly to Geurnsey that afternoon from the South Terminal. There is a flight departing at 2:30pm or another one around 5pm. This is also in September this year.

Not having been through Gatwick Airport before and through Customs/Immigration etc - would there be enough time for the 2:30 flight out, or to be on the safe side should I go the 5pm flight.

If this option of going to Geurnsey on our arrival date is not viable (we are only going for a one night stay for family history reasons) - we'll be staying near Manston airport (Kent International) - but I couldn't find any flights to Geursney (other than going via other places with a minimum flight time of 8hrs) which isn't really time savy. Any other suggests of how to get from Kent to Geurnsey??

As far as I know, you have to go back to Gatwick to fly to Guernsey, but are you sure you want to spend a single day? It's a small place but full of history and breathtaking scenery. You better make sure that there are daily flights to and even then there can be.
